Euroflora 2025 will take place from 24 April to 4 May in Genoa, in the incredible setting of the Waterfront di Levante, in the former Genoese exhibition center.

A new and surprising space that will host Euroflora between Piazzale Kennedy and Palasport, Tensostruttura and spaces in the water and finally the Jean Nouvel pavilion.

La Baia di Ceramica presents itself at the international florovivaistico exhibition with a stand of more than 145 square meters in Piazzale Kennedy.

Who we are
Savona, Albisola Superiore, Albissola Marina and Celle Ligure: four municipalities united by the ancient tradition of ceramics and the passion for green.
The Baia della Ceramica project celebrates the meeting between art, nature and innovation. The exhibition space of Baia della Ceramica, designed by garden designer and promoter of green culture Simonetta Chiarugi https://www.aboutgarden.it/, is a place where the Mediterranean scrub meets ceramic art in a suggestive and sustainable installation.

A resilient Mediterranean garden: a green oasis that enhances the Ligurian biodiversity, with native essences such as lentiscus, myrtle, elicriso, rosemary and strawberry, but also olive trees, chinotto of Savona and pernambuco orange of the riviera. The selection of plants has been accurate to make as much as possible the space faithful to the territory, it was entrusted to Cersaa - Center for Agricultural Experimentation and Assistance of the Chamber of Commerce Riviere di Liguria https://www.cersaa.it/ , experimental agricultural assistance centre. The visitor can enter the space along a walkway and can admire and immerse himself in the setting. At the center a greenhouse created for the occasion by https://www.facebook.com/ferro.giardino/ will be set up with an exhibition of aromatic and succulent.

The blue colour as a thread: inspired by the sea that unites Savona, Albisola Superiore, Albissola Marina and Celle Ligure, and the historic natural dye extracted from Isatis tinctoria (provided by https://www.florianabulbose.com/), symbol of white-blue ceramics. The pottery and the creativity of the artisans of the Bay have given rise to an installation with a strong impact, which follows the theme of sustainability and saving water as a valuable asset. Made by Albisola Ceramists Association at the Municipal School of Albisola Ceramics Superior http://www.scooladiceramica-albisola.com/associazione-u-vascellu/association-albisola.comalbisola-ceramists/ ceramics transforms the plants and flowers with innovative forms with colors and decorations of tradition. It is a real structure that at the end of the event will be located in the archaeological area of Albisola Superiore on the occasion of the Maiolica Festival 2025.

Art, innovation and sustainability: these are the three key words that gave shape to the idea for Euroflora 2025: we reinterpret the link between water, land and creativity creating a garden does without common lawn, Promoting spontaneous biodiversity for a more responsible future. What awaits the visitor is an immersive experience, a path between art and nature and the ceramic tradition of Liguria.

An inclusive space: the space has been designed to give all visitors the opportunity to visit it. Thanks to the involvement and support of Bricofrana di Ceriale https://www.bricofrana.it/ the walk was created with the innovative system Ecogravel 30, designed to be walked without problems by wheelchairs and disability support systems.

Side events: two events will be held in the public meeting spaces:

April 29, 2025 at 1430: Ceramics succulent and pottery: an inclusion experience: the project of the City of Savona with the support of Isforcoop and the local associations that aims to promote social inclusion through the art of ceramics will be told at the Erika Room through the testimony of tutors, teachers, botanists and technicians in the presence of the children who are the real protagonists. The succulents and ceramic pots will also be displayed at the exhibition space to highlight a project that is growing for its social value.

1 May 16 h: Besio1860_ the transformation of the chinotto is a family story: through the historical business of Savona reached the third generation, at the Ginestra Room we will tell you about the plant and its characteristics to get to the food use in the bar and pastry sector.

In the city of Savona concurrently are involved 20 commercial activities that have on display some succulent plants with their ceramic pots made by the guys of Ceramicabili.
