Milena Milani

Born in Savona in 1917, Milena Milani was one of the most famous Italian writers.
Translated in many countries, she has published novels, poems, short stories, essays and articles for various magazines during her career, as well as holding numerous solo exhibitions of her work. Milena Milani has in fact taken part in the artistic movement of Spatialism since its birth and signed some posters. He has won awards and recognition for his literary and artistic activities.
In 1988 she was appointed by Francesco Cossiga as a Grand Officer of the Italian Republic.
She died in Savona in 2013, at the age of ninety-five.
