  • Savona cathedral museum complex: an architectural masterpiece that is home to artistic treasures of incalculable value. The cathedral is a beautiful example of Italian Renaissance religious architecture, designed by Battista Sormano and built between 1584 and 1605. Admire it in all its majesty, its harmony of form and light that filters through the stained glass windows, creating a mystical atmosphere. Close to the cathedral is Savona’s Sistine Chapel, built on the orders of Pope Sixtus IV between 1481 and 1483.
