Vincenzo Gio Verzellino
Writer. Savona 1562 - 1638.
Prince of the Savona chroniclers, he was born in Savona. The Verzellino family was noble and rich and had palaces in via Cassari, Scarzeria, Pia.
He attended schools in Savona and graduated in law perhaps in Genoa. He married Geronima Onofrii from a large family with whom he had children.
