Palazzo Lamba Doria
Every inch of Palazzo Lamba Doria has a story to tell. The stone arches at the bottom of the building speak of a Mediaeval past, whilst the marble doorway beckons visitors into a world of pomp and splendour. Inside, climb the staircase and savour the building's magical atmosphere.
The walls of the house, which was once home to a noble family, are still decorated with magnificent frescoes. Between 1548 and 1566, artists from Ottavo Semino’s workshop created mythological and grotesque scenes which still have the power to move and amaze viewers.
In the reception room on the ground floor is a large fresco depicting the Destruction of Sennacherib. A masterpiece produced by brothers Alessandro and Giulio Cesare Semino which takes the breath away for its grandeur and realism.
Palazzo Lamba Doria is more than just another palace, it is a journey back in time, a full immersion in history and art. A place which is sure to leave its mark on you.
