Savona's Old Port, the timeless heart of the city. The harbour is lined with historic palaces that tell us much about the city's glorious past, whilst the air is filled with the scent of the sea.

Mediaeval towers thrust skywards, interspersed with artisan's workshops , evidence of a period when Savona was a thriving commercial centre. The Old Port is more than just memories of the past though.

It is a thriving part of the city, bursting with bars and restaurants which really come alive when the sun goes down. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the perfect place to enjoy an aperitif with friends or tuck in to a delicious meal of fresh fish.

As you stroll along the quayside, you can admire the fishing boats and yachts bobbing gently on the blue ocean. Symbols of innovation and technology that blend perfectly with the seafaring tradition of this place.

The Old Port is a wonderful place to spend time, where the past and the present are inextricably intertwined. A place that will charm you with its beautiful surroundings, history and unique atmosphere.
