The gold and gemstone crown, the Princess Maria Anna of Savoy’s necklace, the liturgical silver objects donated by Mons.

Agostino De Mari and the collection of votive offerings to Our Lady of Mercy are just some of the precious items exhibited in the Museo del Tesoro del Santuario in Savona. Opened in 1959 and fully renovated in 1986-1987, the museum is housed in the wing connecting Palazzetto del Duca di Tursi and Ospizio de’ Poveri (when looking to the façade of the Sanctuary, the entrance is on the right side, at the end of the ramp) and offers a combined tour with Sala Peluzzi, where the works of art donated by master Eso Peluzzi are on display.

The museum tour unfolds through five sections, arranged in chronological order: 16th and 17th centuries, Cella dei preziosi, 18th century, 19th century, and votive offerings.

The Museum is open upon reservation to be made at the following contacts: +39 019 82 9410 / museodelsantuario@operesociali.it
